The International Live Events Association (ILEA) is the principal association representing the Creative Events Professional, globally. Production Canada is a proud member of the ILEA Toronto, ILEA Calgary, and ILEA Vancouver chapters.
Our head office in Toronto is also a proud member of Destination Toronto, an industry association representing more than 1,000 businesses, and is the official destination marketing organization for Toronto, “Canada’s Downtown.”
Our YVR office is a member of Destination Vancouver, a membership organization whose purpose is to effectively market Metro Vancouver as a destination for leisure, meeting and event travelers.
Event Safety Alliance is an organization dedicated to promoting “life safety first” throughout all phases of event production and execution. Our entire strategize/execute team holds a membership with the Event Safety Alliance.
Production Canada has also completed ESA’s Severe Weather Summit, an experience-driven and science-backed workshop designed to help event and venue professionals prepare for and respond to dangerous weather conditions.
The Event Leadership Institute’s Pandemic On-Site Protocol course is designed to provide all front and back of the house on-site event staff with the knowledge necessary to personally stay safe, identify and suppress risks, and skills handle, mitigate and de-escalate non-compliance issues should they arise. One team member from each department has completed this program in 2021.
The Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation recognizes event professionals who have successfully demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and ability essential to perform all components of a special event.
Liz is one of only 60 CSEPs in Canada.
